During my visit to Thailand, I was awed and inspired by the many temples and the intricate architectural and decorative details in them. One image, though, really stuck with me - a slightly worn arch where a pond flowed under a particularly majestic white temple. The water had chipped away at the plaster over the brickwork in the arch, leaving it exposed and creating a captivating reflection in the pool.

So, of all the majestic places of prayer and contemplation, I wove a little brick wall and a reflection of a barely noticed support under all the ceremony.
